What is it?

Hello! Thanks for stopping by the blog!

I've been busy taking care of a few things at school. Our classroom is a giant mess right now! I'm reorganizing some things, and that always means I make a big mess before I can put it all back the way I want it! Yikes!

I'm on my way to Denver for my cousin's wedding this weekend. But I'll be back at school on Monday, making sure things are ready for you!

In the mean time, here's a little picture of something that Mrs. Finnegan built for our classroom. Can you guess what it is?? I can't wait to show you what it looks like when it's finished!

See you soon!

Summer Adventures

Greetings!
I hope summer has been wonderful! Here's some pics from my summer adventures!

Ms. Judge and I went to a teacher conference in San Antonio, Texas. Before the conference started, we got to explore the Alamo and the Riverwalk. It was awesome! We went to the top of "The Tower of Americas," which is a little bit taller than the Space Needle in Seattle! It was AWESOME! We also got to meet some of our favorite teacher idols. We learned a lot and can't wait to have fun with our second graders this year!

Next up, a little fun around Missoula with Ms. Finnegan and Mrs. Malchi! We went roller skating! I was a little bit nervous, but gave it a good try. I had a blast! We even ran into lots of Russell kids! That was the best part!

I also had an epic road trip with Ms. Finnegan and her daughters. We went to Michigan. We had lots of awesome stops along the way there and home.

We took a ferry across Lake Michigan, visited the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, and Mackinac Island. There are no cars on the island, so we had to take a horse carriage to see the sights! We went to a butterfly house, and one even landed on me!! It was exciting!

On our way home, we traveled through South Dakota. We saw the Badlands, Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Monument. It was incredible They aren't even down carving it out of stone - and it will take about 75 more years to finish!

The best part is always coming home to Montana! I've spent a lot of time hanging out at Flathead Lake.

Thanks for checking in! I'll be posting classroom pictures soon! Check back next week!
